Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort

We love this place so much! We always stay here and always have an amazing time!! The facilities are gorgeous and so clean. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. There’s so much to do and the bay view rooms have gorgeous views. Plus the beds and pillows are so comfortable!! Just a short walk away and you have Baytowne shops and restaurants. We always come back to this place when we’re in the area. It never disappoints!

The rooms here were very dated. In addition to this, there was mold in the shower and various stains all over the couch/sofa bed combo. I would not recommend staying at this place to anyone. This place is a time share, if you’re going to stay at the Hilton, choose the hotel version and not this place. It’s called Hilton Grand Vacations Club and Spa. Wish I would have known that before booking. Hopefully this review will spare you from making the same mistake I did.

Very poor hotel experience. They advertised that you could use Hilton Sandestin pool and beach; you could not. They advertised certain room we booked; actual room provided did not meet booking. Room had view of dumpster and staff coming to work. It was dirty and dated. Our kids' feet turned black from walking on floor. Dirt and trash throughout. The "pools" were 1-4 feet deep. Dish washer and coffee maker broken. Concerns raised, but staff did not escalate to management. Given phone number for manager, called, number was disconnected. Front desk referred to corporate who referred back to hotel. Manager and 'assistant' manager never responded to emails or concerns. Left after 2 nights. Update: A week after returning, the manager 'finally' called us and could not have been nicer and we reached an amicable resoultion. If he had been present at the time I believe we could've resolved some of our issues.

We have been members and going here for many years. First time being reprimanded for having a bottled water on edge of the pool. This is a bit much and the practice should be reevaluated. Maintenance staff took care of minor issues quickly and they were very nice. Easy check in and check out. Rooms are nice and air conditioning is excellent. Kitchens are nicely appointed with eveerthing you need if you want to cook. There is a large selection of movies you can schedule to watch in the onsite movie theater. I gave 3 stars on service solely for the negative interaction with staff over the bottled water at poolside.
